A project manager and our Winnipeg geotechnical team lead, German has 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. He handles construction field reviews for commercial and industrial developments, and he’s worked for numerous clients in several industries. German’s expertise extends from coordination and supervisory roles to hands-on knowledge of testholes, boreholes, field investigations, foundations, screw or pipe piles, and more.
During the City of Thompson Wastewater Treatment Plant project, German served as the geotechnical project manager. There, he and his team used their analysis to inform the structural engineering designs, and with that help, the City was able to upgrade aging infrastructure in line with current environmental regulations.
From the lakes of Manitoba and northwest Ontario to the Amazon river, German has indulged his love of travel and fishing. He’s visited Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico, the US, Japan, Vietnam, and a few spots in Europe. When February rolls around, you’ll probably find him snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains.
