Cody started his career in the construction industry. There he gained valuable experience that compliments his approach to engineering design and drafting. Today he leverages 20 years of experience in construction and engineering to manage and support a highly motivated and results-driven team.
Recently, Cody has been carrying a portfolio of projects within the upstream heavy oil/thermal sector. He and his team work on a wide range of facilities and projects, from field support and maintenance to large plant shutdown and expansion/optimization projects.
When he’s not at work, Cody is spending time with his wife and their four kids or acting as Coaching and Player Development VP for Fish Creek Little League. He’s been a baseball coach at all levels for more than ten years, and he says that “coaching is an asset to managing teams here at Stantec.”
