Betty is a certified floodplain manager with 20 years of experience in water resources and environmental engineering. She’s known for her project management skills, and has a background in drainage, hydrology and hydraulics, and stream restoration.
Depending on the project, Betty plays different roles. Most often, she works as a project manager, leading team coordination, client and subcontractor management, internal financials and quality control—if she’s involved on the technical side, it’s usually working with drainage and flood studies. Betty loves what she does because of the opportunity it provides her to create ingenious solutions for her clients, and she feels lucky to be a member of such a reachable, diverse team.
Outside of work, Betty enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and rescuing dogs. She likes to stay active jogging, swimming, and biking, and is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
