Senior Project Manager, Transportation

Managing large alternative delivery projects is much like coaching a competitive sports team. With more than a decade of experience in both, Rob’s an expert on pulling the appropriate people into positions that lead to successfully delivered projects and big-game wins.

With an excellent understanding of all facets of engineering projects—from planning and environmental studies to final design and post-design services—Rob has the ability to see the big picture. On a recent alternative delivery project, Rob led the development of several alternative technical concepts (ATCs) to improve the operating sight distance at a new interchange, while eliminating excessive cut and fill slopes and reducing ramp lengths. This ATC design saved hundreds of thousands of dollars, while meeting all client goals and objectives. He has also led similar complex solutions on alternative delivery projects for public transportation departments across the US, including Arizona, Texas, Florida, and Indiana. Whether it’s a variation of a design-build, construction manager at risk, or a P3 project, the repetition of continually completing alternative delivery projects for 15+ years, has honed his ability to be an organized, resourceful problem-solver, who measures his results based on client satisfaction, schedule adherence, and budget control.

Rob enjoys golfing, sports card collecting, and walking his two dogs Russell and Chewie (named after a favorite movie actor and favorite movie character). He’s also an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
