Michael has experience designing concrete, steel, and timber bridges. As a certified bridge inspection team leader, he works closely with local communities to keep bridges safe for the traveling public and provide maintenance recommendations to help our clients manage their resources. Michael takes pride in his work and always strives to deliver the best possible outcomes.
Michael is passionate about creating a workplace that is welcoming and inclusive to all. He is the chapter lead of the Minneapolis Pride@Stantec employee resource group, which is fostering an environment that allows our LGBTQIA+ employees to bring their true selves to work. He is also involved in the Developing Professionals Group, working to break down barriers and create connections between new staff and experienced leaders.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys running, backpacking, a good game of cribbage, and spending time with friends and family.
