Megan has more than 16 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. She’s a British Columbia registered professional engineer, one of our first WELL accredited professionals, a certified passive house designer, and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accredited professional, specializing in building design and construction (LEED® AP BD+C).
Throughout the design and construction process, Megan helps owners, design teams, and construction teams navigate the LEED certification process. One of the projects that Megan is most proud to have worked on is the fit-up of Stantec’s Burnaby, BC office which received LEED Platinum certification in April 2016. By achieving the highest level of LEED certification, our project team proved their knowledge in designing a healthy, productive, and sustainable working environment.
Megan is also the team lead of Stantec’s LEED Canada Certification Review Team, which works on behalf of the Canada Green Building Council to validate and certify LEED registered projects from across the country and respond to credit interpretation requests.
Outside of work, Megan is a prolific volunteer, spending her time with many organizations including Scientists and Innovators in the Schools, the YWCA, and Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
