Mason Liebau

A principal with our water resources group, Mason has 20 years of experience managing feasibility studies and overseeing design for drainage and roadway improvement projects.

As an expert in floodplain mapping, his broad project management experience and training has been used to spearhead numerous projects like Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Flood Insurance Mapping, United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects, Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) flood mapping projects, as well as bond or capital improvement projects for local municipalities. He also has extensive experience with utilities inventory, database development, and preparing and submitting permit request documents to various government agencies. Passionate about mentoring his team and developing strong relationships with clients, Mason’s vast knowledge encompasses complex large scale hydrologic and hydraulic studies and the preparation of drainage construction drawings and documents.

Outside of work, you’re most likely to find Mason getting some fresh air outdoors. He loves the lakes, rivers, and state parks, and gets out hunting, fishing, and golfing whenever he can.
