Kelvin Limbrick

Technical Director – Hydrology and Flood Risk

A fellow of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management, a chartered water and environmental manager, a chartered environmentalist, a chartered geographer, a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, and a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Kelvin has spent more than 17 years working in the environmental services sector. He has a Ph.D in hydrogeochemical variability in the chalk aquifer, and a bachelor of science in physical geography—both from the University of Reading.

Recently, Kelvin has acted as technical lead on the improvement of flood resilience for the UK water industry, river realignment and restoration schemes under the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP), and environmental impact assessments and climate change adaptation reporting. He’s also contributing to the updated guidance on sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS) and has produced internal Stantec guidance documents on watercourse hydraulic modelling.

Kelvin has been a keen guitarist and drummer for some 30 years and enjoys spending time outside work with his wife, three children, and dog.
