Alex pairs collaboration with over a decade of design and 3D modeling experience to help bring transportation projects to life. He has designed horizontal and vertical alignments as well as prepared contract plans for initial and final designs, typical sections, cross sections, grading plans, quantity estimates, and right of way documents for various highway design assignments.
One of Alex’s most memorable projects involved working on the Interstate-81 (I-81) Viaduct Project. He was a key team member, developing innovative solutions for the design and reconstruction of the I-81/I-481 Southern Interchange, rerouting traffic around Syracuse, New York. This required significant coordination and collaboration between multiple design teams, contractors, and other key parties.
When he isn’t working on transportation projects, Alex enjoys volunteering, home improvement projects, and skiing.
