With more than 30 years of successful experience in the Energy business, Carlos has been involved in operations and project work in South America, the US, and the Middle East. He has being exposed to increasing responsibilities as project engineer, process and facilities manager, and technical advisor for a major energy exploration and production company.
He joined Stantec through the Process Unlimited acquisition in 2004, bringing a wealth of technical knowledge and management experience to our engineering consulting business. He graduated as a mechanical engineer and then became a process engineer in the oil and gas production business.
As part of his development, Carlos had advanced studies in refinery process engineering and a master’s degree in chemical engineering. He developed strong technical capabilities in evaluation, optimization, troubleshooting, and facilities business planning in all phases of project development.
