Christian is a mechanical engineer focused on delivering sustainable and resilient design solutions for existing and new buildings. He brings his passion for learning about new and innovative technologies to each design project.
With experience across the civic, education, and commercial sectors, Christian provides mechanical design expertise from concept through to commissioning on multidisciplinary projects. Some of his project highlights include HVAC and fuel systems designs and working on a team that prepared carbon neutral studies for four prominent heritage buildings in downtown Ottawa. The latter involved presenting a set of distinct holistic options that balanced low carbon design strategies with financial feasibility.
Whether he is backcountry camping, cycling, hiking, or travelling to new places, Christian loves spending time outdoors. This includes embarking on new adventures such as ATVing through the jungles of Chiang Mai, hiking to the Hollywood sign, kayaking in the ocean, and trying foods that are way too spicy for his own good.
