With over 25 years’ experience in the water industry, Ben specializes in clean water process design and delivery. In addition to leading design and build contracting and consulting projects, he's served on secondment to water companies. More recently, he led our process engineering team on work with South East Water.
Known for leading multidisciplinary teams with enthusiasm, Ben has a can-do attitude in his approach to delivering complex programs. His experience includes designing the water treatment for the Cheddar Reservoir project, designing a $9.4 million water recycling project for Southern Water, and leading a UK Water Industry Research (UKWIR) project researching the issue of algae on water treatment and water quality.
Ben is a strong advocate for technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and developing in-house design tools to support consistency and upskill teams. He mentors IChemE chartership candidates and is a committee member of the London and South-East IChemE group. He also holds an engineering doctorate in water sciences from Cranfield University.
