Hiva’s background is related to underground structures, geotechnics, trenchless, and tunneling projects. She has managed, designed, and delivered projects that include large-diameter tunnels, requiring earth pressure balance tunnel boring machines (EPB TBM), and small-diameter tunnels such as pressurized-face microtunneling, horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and horizontal auger boring (HAB). Hiva has led projects of wide-ranging scopes, including feasibility studies, impact assessments, advanced numerical modeling, instrumentation design, detail design, geotechnical baseline reports (GBR), and construction support. She provides her clients practical, tangible solutions in simple language.
Outside of the office, Hiva loves traveling with her family, camping, hiking, biking, and reading.
