A self-proclaimed “road geek” and an expert in all things traffic-related, Matt applies his over eight years of experience to transportation projects that satisfy the needs of clients and communities alike. As a traffic engineer, Matt has managed projects for high-profile clients including NJ TRANSIT and the NJ Turnpike Authority, producing deliverables from traffic impact studies to concept development reports.
Matt delivers on each assignment by staying up-to-date on the latest transportation planning practices, getting the scoop on the progress of relevant, regional highway projects, and going the extra mile to make sure that public presentations run smoothly.
To Matt, the most rewarding projects are the most difficult ones. Work that takes him out of his comfort zone and forces him to shift his way of thinking ultimately allows him to learn more. Case in point, recently, Matt was asked to develop guidelines and standards for a commuter rail station project, and through this experience, he went from having little knowledge of commuter rail design to being a company-wide resource on the subject.
