Based in our Milan office, Nicola has a background in sustainable development and international cooperation. He has expertise in stakeholder integration to define transdisciplinary strategy into sustainability projects.
In his position, Nicola designs collaborative workshops to strengthen community engagement in planning and restoration projects and supports the Italian creativity and innovation (C&I) hub. His passion for social value and education led him to co-create the D.Game, the winning project for the European Institution of Innovation of Technology (EIT Climate-KIC) that enhances the cultural, social, and behavioral change of schools and local communities. Nicola is also the sustainability global lead for our developing professionals group (DPG) and is responsible for developing team responsibilities and facilitating the networking and circulation of resources across all Stantec offices.
When he’s not working, Nicola volunteers teaching meditation at several NGOs. He also has a farm where he makes olive oil and grows almonds and fruits, including figs, pears, grapes, and pomegranates.
