What’s one word used to describe Samantha? Driven. She first joined Stantec as a summer intern while pursuing her master of architecture at Louisiana Tech University. Her fresh ideas and “can-do” attitude show her passion for architecture. She believes that age and experience shouldn’t hold anyone back from pursuing their passion.
After graduating, Sam returned to Stantec to work with our Education Group. Within 18 months, she earned her architectural license. She aims to push the envelope of great educational design, lending her talents and insights to K-12 facilities throughout Texas.
Sam is also invested in her community. She fulfills her passion for mentorship by co-leading the ACE North Dallas Mentor Program and working with Stantec’s intern development team to create robust and exciting internship experiences. She also created a blog for aspiring architects, where she aims to help bridge the gap between the academic and professional worlds. Additionally, Sam is an active member of AIA and serves her local Dallas chapter in many capacities: Chapter Board Member, Chair of the Architecture Matters Committee, and Young Professionals Committee member.
