Shelby is a professional geologist with two decades of experience leading complex environmental investigations and cleanup projects. Known for her supportive leadership and big‑picture perspective, she has deep expertise in site assessment, remediation, and groundwater studies. She enjoys field work, geologic mapping, and guiding projects from investigation through remediation.
Currently, Shelby serves as the program manager for the Site Investigation and Remediation Agreement with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) and environmental program manager for capital projects with the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments (SGVCOG). She is passionate about protecting the environment and using science to solve problems that matter to communities.
Outside of work, Shelby loves hiking, traveling to places with unique geology, gardening, cheering for the Dodgers, and caring for her backyard chickens.
