Amanda examines transit issues from a land use planning lens and finds how the two can work together to create more sustainable, accessible communities. She approaches every project with a focus on equity, sustainability, resiliency, and providing more transit mobility options.
Understanding the influence the built environment has on mobility and accessibility, Amanda creates comprehensive transit access solutions that consider surrounding land uses. She has a multimodal view on transit projects, considering how all modes of transportation—including active transportation and micro transit options—can contribute to easy and convenient access to transit services. Amanda brings her public-sector experience to her current role to respond to the needs of clients on a range of transportation and urban mobility projects.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys exploring LA using public transit, watching movies with friends, and playing board games.
