John’s project teams have gained a reputation for having the answers before questions are asked. At least, that’s what one client said. As the lead for United States site investigation and remediation, that vision serves John well. He manages the characterization and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater, setting standards for Stantec.
Investigating and cleaning up recalcitrant toxic chemicals can be challenging, but John knows that projects requiring personal sacrifice build connections and transform your professional life. Guiding remediation of an industrial property threatening a neighborhood water supply, he experienced it firsthand. Working with staff from seven states, John saw the results of their teamwork and creativity protect the water supply and save the client millions.
Ever a multi-tasker, he splits his time between the manufacturing and oil and gas industries, and enjoys bicycling, trail running or whatever mode of human powered transportation suits the moment.
