Working with our Public Sector team, Alan has over 40 years of experience delivering complex projects across the United Kingdom and internationally. He’s a highly accomplished design and project management professional, recognized for leading large, multidisciplinary teams through technically challenging programs with significant operational constraints.
Alan plays a key role in the delivery of major public sector, transport, commercial and residential developments, providing design management, contract administration and supply chain leadership under New Engineering Contracts (NEC3 and NEC4) . His work spans all Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) stages and includes live operational environments, heritage assets, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
Alan’s background includes senior leadership roles on nationally significant schemes such as the Palace of Westminster Estate, major data center campuses, healthcare facilities and cultural buildings. He combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative, pragmatic approach, providing design quality, program certainty, and value for clients. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) and is valued for his ability to manage complex interfaces across diverse project teams.
