Elaine is an interior designer who started her professional career at Stantec after graduating from Sacramento State University. Elaine incorporates BIM, 3D rendering, and virtual reality (VR) to create interior designs. Using VR for client presentations helps everyone visualize the design more completely.
Inspired by nature and driven through minimalism, Elaine works with civic, healthcare, and workplace clients to develop designs that are functional and catered towards each client’s specific needs. Additionally, sustainability is at the forefront of her designs. She works to incorporate environmentally friendly products that improve indoor air quality and reduce impacts on landfills.
When away from the office, Elaine’s life revolves around health and wellbeing, whether it’s swimming, biking, yoga, or hiking. She describes her ideal Sunday as “early morning yoga class followed by a local cup of coffee” from one of Sacramento’s great restaurants.
