As a principal in our Canada West Power & Dams group, Alex is accountable for the top line and primarily responsible for leading pursuits, the growth of the business center, and the health and safety of our staff. Experienced in thermal power generation and renewables, he also provides leadership for our thermal generation and heavy industrial process sectors.
Alex is ambitious and known to lead by example by demonstrating a strong work ethic and pursuing his career goals. Currently, he is focused on initiating a local Latinos@Stantec employee resource group (ERG) with the goal of bringing Latinos in the organization closer and inviting anyone who is interested in learning more about the culture. He also aims to support local Latino organizations through community engagement initiatives and participate in industry events supported by Latinos in the industry.
Passionate about family, Alex is blessed with daughters that have changed his life and shaped it in ways he could not have imagined. He is also passionate about helping others and enjoys golf and going to the gym.
