Estelle graduated from IHECS (Institut des Hautes Études des Communications Sociales) in Brussels with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Communication, as well as a Master's degree in Public Relations with a specialisation in European Studies.
Driven by her passion for communication and diplomacy, Estelle did an internship in the Embassy of Belgium in Lebanon in the political department while pursuing her Master’s. Following this, she interned at the Ministry of External Affairs in Brussels in the Communication department. From these two opportunities, she gained a lot of experience in different fields of communication: audiovisual, photography, diplomacy, graphic designs, redaction, media monitoring, and many others!
Estelle has a particular interest in the migration crisis and did her thesis about the influence of Belgian policies and communication on the image of the migrants. On the ground, she does volunteering work with refugee children through the Caritas International Organisation.
As a Lebanese, Estelle uses her background, knowledge and passion to support a communication project, EU Neighbours South, funded by the European Commission. She is very grateful to be able to daily link social impact aspects and communication in her work.
