The best way to manage is to understand. For James, that means learning the details of every aspect of a project, even if it’s not his direct responsibility. He has over 11 years of design, construction, and project management experience, and he’s worked in the healthcare, university, institutional, and corporate sectors.
Recently, James has been working on an expansion to the Muncy Valley Hospital emergency department. The plan calls for the relocation of a Township road and the hospital helipad, which means a lot of proactive management when it comes to approvals, timelines, and budget.
But that’s just one facet. Throughout the process, James has been maintaining the budget and schedule to make sure we meet the owner’s objectives.
For James, client interaction and coordination is the best part of any job. He enjoys facing new challenges on each project and working with different disciplines to accurately solve issues. When he’s not at work, he’s probably golfing or spending time with his family.
