Kat is a people person. Her passion for environmental engineering stems from her drive to serve and give back to the community. This passion has taken her from providing power solutions to villages in Africa to providing clean drinking water to her home base in Oregon.
Her work is centered around the relationships she builds with clients. As a process engineer, Kat is well-versed in pilot testing, water quality/treatment optimization studies, facility planning, and water/wastewater treatment plant design for municipal and industrial clients. She’s worked on projects across the western US in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and California, with her broad range of experience providing her the skills to close the loop between planning, testing, design, and operations.
If Kat wasn’t an engineer, she’d be a chef—she loves cooking, baking, and grilling up new recipes. She also enjoys taking advantage of the natural resources the Pacific Northwest has to offer while hiking, running, kayaking, and biking.
