As a project manager with more than 16 years of experience, Mitchell works on projects that preserve, enhance, and restore the natural environment. This includes large and small-scale wetland mitigation design and implementation, non-native vegetation management, native planting and seeding, dune revegetation, phosphate mine reclamation, stormwater system management, and native landscaping.
Mitchell enjoys working with the Environmental Services team to deliver successful projects. He has managed projects for the Southwest, South, and Northwest Florida Water Management Districts, U.S. Park Service, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and several local and municipal regulatory agencies. As a Florida Department of Environmental Protection certified stormwater inspector, Mitchell has also performed environmental compliance monitoring and construction documentation.
In his spare time, Mitchell enjoys spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors.
