Guided by collaboration, integrity, and consistency, Bjorn works closely with teams across the Company to support their success and ensure both new and current employees feel engaged and supported through change.
During his nearly three decades with Stantec, Bjorn has helped guide our evolution from a primarily Canadian firm to a global company. He has worked on well over 100 acquisitions and plays a key role in ensuring smooth cultural and operational integration, contributing to our steady growth and organizational continuity.
When not searching for acquisition prospects, Bjorn is committed to community and staying active. He serves on the Business Advisory Council for the Alberta School of Business at his alma mater, the University of Alberta and is the honorary consul for Norway in Northern Alberta. A former Norwegian basketball champion, a Canadian biathlon champion, and an active triathlon and marathon competitor, Bjorn believes that physical activity helps build healthy, thriving communities.
