Leah brings a unique set of technical, software, communication, and project management skills to her role as a mechanical engineer with our team in Ottawa, Ontario. She designs HVAC, plumbing, hydronics, DDC controls, and fuel systems on a variety of commercial, institutional, and light industrial projects.
Having joined us after completing university, Leah has since specialized in the use of building information modeling (BIM) technologies to deliver design documentation. She enjoys working on projects she sees in her everyday life and knows will have a positive impact on her community. Whether facing a difficult technical, project management, or timeline challenge, Leah finds it most rewarding to be pushed, try new things, and solve new problems.
As a ringette and hockey player, Leah also coaches the Carleton University ringette team. In the summer you will find her on a ball diamond and in the winter she spends most of her free time at the rink. She loves painting with acrylics, creating art with wood burning tools, and photographing her surroundings.
