Jason’s most gratifying projects involve taking complex problems within the world of shafts and hoisting and turning them into simple solutions for our customers. With more than 25 years of industry experience, he’s an established expert in the conceptualization, design, installation and commissioning of hoisting plants.
Jason has worked on projects in Australia, Peru, Bolivia, Kazakhstan, and South Africa—this global experience has given him in-depth knowledge of the full spectrum of hoisting plants. Currently, he’s working on projects that involve performing catastrophic hazard assessments on hoists and shafts for a major international mining company, overseeing the certification of a hoist plant, and upgrading shaft and headframe equipment to meet current industry standards.
When he’s not at work, Jason is always looking for new and interesting places for a good hike—he and his family recently traveled to Peru and hiked the scenic Rainbow Mountain. Jason is also an avid hockey fan and enjoys playing regularly.
