Mike brings a unique and valuable management background to large capital improvement programs. With 35 years of experience, he specializes in forming and establishing successful public/private partnerships (P3 projects) and delivering best practices to complex urban regeneration programs.
He’s been responsible for programs with values exceeding $3 billion US, including all types of infrastructure and building projects—from sewer rehabilitation to urban regeneration. Specifically, in the urban regeneration area, Mike led two award-winning US programs, the regeneration of the former Stapleton Airport in Denver, Colorado, and the regeneration of downtown Kansas City through the development of the Power & Light District.
Both projects are leading examples of mixed use urban regeneration successes. Most recently, he’s served as executive program manager for St. Louis Development Corporation’s North St. Louis regeneration project, NorthSide Regeneration.
