For Mike, it’s about people—coworkers, clients, owners, and contractors. The teamwork, camaraderie, process, and products that teams create keeps him energized over his 25-year career managing and designing building projects.
With experience in healthcare, commercial, hospitality, and public markets, Mike views each project as his team’s gift to its community. As such, each team has an obligation to build safe, functional, and efficient projects for them. He is committed to providing infrastructure and technology that enhances and continuously improves buildings for their users.
As office leader in Seattle and Lynnwood, WA, and Portland, OR Oak Street, Mike’s advice to new staff is: “Be a sponge. Soak up all the knowledge and advice you can. And even when you have lots of guidance, you are in charge of your future and only hard work and desire will grow your career.”
When Mike isn’t at work, he’s “a home improvement junkie.” He loves projects, tools, and the feeling of accomplishment.
