With over 30 years of experience across the construction and infrastructure industry, he supports clients, asset owners, contractors, product manufacturers, and academia in the UK and internationally.
Ian’s expertise includes carbon management, greenhouse gas inventories, whole‑life carbon and lifecycle assessments, as well as assessing wider sustainability impacts of projects. His expertise also covers circular economy, responsible sourcing, management systems, data verification, and training and facilitation.
A visiting professor in sustainable infrastructure at Loughborough University, Ian is a chartered environmentalist. He’s also a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institute for Sustainability and Environmental Professionals.
