Ed is an accomplished asset management, business improvement, and operations leader with broad experience developed in a wide range of roles. With over 19 years in the water industry, his responsibilities have included regulatory reporting, investment planning, asset management, performance improvement and operational management of water and wastewater networks and wastewater treatment sites.
Experienced in all aspects of the asset management lifecycle, Ed uses his learning to advise on the practical application of asset strategy and policy. He has deep technical expertise and holds a PhD in Geography & Geophysics. Ed has a reputation for delivering outstanding results and implementing sustainable change through strong leadership and effective development of successful teams. An adept influencer and stakeholder manager at all levels, he is able to quickly establish a strong rapport and good relationships within and between teams—something he finds helps improve motivation and collaboration.
Outside of work, Ed enjoys playing and coaching football, running to keep fit, and watching sports and live music.
