Shane is a climate risk and resilience consultant for our sustainable development group in Vancouver, where he specializes in facilitation of climate adaptation and resilience planning. He prides himself on his ability to speak the language of both engineering and planning, with a technical background in green building and civil engineering, combined with experience facilitating community input on large infrastructure projects and integrating resiliency measures into urban development.
Shane’s passion is for community focused infrastructure development. Some of his notable work includes consulting with the City of Cambridge, Ontario in the development of their climate adaptation plan, as well as exploring the impacts of a changing climate on various building and infrastructure projects in British Columbia and the Yukon.
When he isn’t busy helping clients and communities tackle climate change, Shane can be found exploring British Columbia’s great outdoors. He is an avid backcountry camper, runner, and cyclist.
