In his 27 years of technical project work and business leadership, Hhan has gained global hands-on experience in mining. He’s an industry leader for mine water management for tailings storage facilities, mine dewatering, water resource development, and environmental stewardship.
As a mining practice leader, Hhan helps clients work toward sustainable mining practices at some of the world’s largest mine sites. He has worked as a technical lead for two of the largest tailings dams in the world and enjoys mentoring and growing developing young professionals. Hhan is especially passionate about making sure that operations have long-term mining plans with a sustainable balance between resource development, minimal environmental impact, and economic benefits for local communities.
In his free time, Hhan is often found hiking trials in the western United States or visiting his extended family in Peru.
