Zusset has experience in roadway construction and maintenance, transportation design, and bridge inspections, supporting government and consulting agencies across New Mexico. With a background in heavy civil construction and transportation engineering, she enjoys the technical aspects of design and the collaboration that comes with team-based project delivery.
Focusing on community development, Zusset produces roadway plans and contributes to roadway and drainage improvement designs for local communities. She also develops technical reports for traffic safety and feasibility studies. One of her most memorable projects involved working with public involvement that was supported by 3D visualizations. This was an exciting opportunity to help invested partners understand and visualize proposed improvements for the community.
Away from her civil engineering work and pursuing her masters, Zusset enjoys cooking new recipes, reading for fun as much as possible, and watching comedy shows and documentaries. She also volunteers with a student group called Aggies Without Limits through New Mexico State University.
