With nearly 20 years of specialized experience in structural analysis, design, and stability of complex bridges, Cagri has worked on wide range of bridges from post-tensioned segmental and cast-in-place multi-cell box girder to curved and skewed I-girder. Prior to joining us, he worked on a number of bridge design projects across the tri-state region and beyond, including the Interstate 395 Signature Bridge in Miami and New York City Department of Transportation’s City Island Bridge.

During his graduate research at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Cagri contributed to industry standards through the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) 12-79 project. This included key updates in the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Load Factor Resistance Design (LRFD) Bridge Design Specifications and influenced other standards. He also currently chairs Task Group 4 - Stability of Metal Bridges and Components for the Structural Stability Research Council (SSRC).

Outside of his professional pursuits, Cagri is a home chef and enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, and traveling.
