In his current role as chief engineer under the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF), he provides strategic and technical oversight for green financing programs to accelerate low-carbon investments.

With over 10 years of international experience, Alper is known for his expertise in energy systems modeling, techno-economic analysis, and long-term scenario development. His work spans energy efficiency, renewable energy, heat networks, electric mobility, and clean hydrogen. He strives to provide a data-driven approach on energy transition pathways for buildings, industry, transportation, and agriculture.
