Samantha is an environmental engineer with seven years of experience in utilities design and planning. Her project experience includes preliminary engineering studies, regulatory compliance, master planning, and hydraulic modeling. She’s developed her hydraulic modeling skills through a variety of water and wastewater projects including model development and calibration, and she’s utilized large-scale models to evaluate existing systems. With this work, Samantha plans and designs for the future, evaluating alternatives for system growth and performance.
Recently, she was part of the team that completed a local municipality’s reclaimed water master plan update. The goal? To plan for the future use of reclaimed water that focuses on maximizing the potential of this generally undervalued resource.
She’s looking forward to Stantec’s continued master planning projects in the area and growing the modeling expertise within Florida. After all, she’s a local. She graduated from the University of Florida, her husband owns a local restaurant, and when she and her husband get a chance, they spend their free time enjoying the water and sunshine with their two little boys.
