Nick is passionate about fostering civic pride and strengthening communities through projects that promote well-being and environmental stewardship. His experience spans public and private sector projects, including brownfields grant writing and implementation, public open space planning, and comprehensive planning.
Recently, Nick worked on the implementation of multiple South Florida Regional Planning Council brownfields grants and the Cutler Bay Coastal Ridge Preserve Concept Plan. The latter is a community-driven visioning effort for a future nature preserve along historic Old Cutler Road in South Miami-Dade.
In his free time, Nick enjoys cultivating tropical fruits like mango, papaya, and pineapple in his Miami yard and sharing the harvest with neighbors. He loves traveling with his wife, family, and friends, immersing himself in new places, cultures, and experiences that broaden his perspective.
