Alex is known for his project experience and delivery of geotechnical investigations across the infrastructure sector in Western Australia and the Northern Territory. He currently leads a team of geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists to deliver high quality work and build mutually beneficial relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders in the industry. He has worked on projects in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, South America, East Africa, Asia, and Australia.
As part of his passion for leading people, Alex has helped prepare and deliver significant training programs, providing feedback to help and guide his fellow team members. In an industry that often faces a high-level risk in safety, he makes safety a priority, obtaining a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety and holding the post of health, safety, and environment advisor and manager in previous roles.
Outside of work, Alex actively volunteers for the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation and Earth Science Western Australia.
