Associate, Fire Engineering Project Technical Lead/Australian Discipline Leader
As a fire engineering project technical lead with over 16 years of experience, John is responsible for the design and implementation of fire safety strategies across various sectors. He has contributed to some of Western Australia’s iconic projects with complex designs, including Optus Stadium, Boola Bardip Museum and the Children’s Hospital.
Adopting a methodical approach to fire safety design, he works proactively with the client’s team and across disciplines to determine solutions that will meet project expectations. John has a deep awareness of his responsibility to building users but is happy to challenge the accepted norms and introduce innovative, safe design that preserves the architectural intent—so long as it does not compromise life safety.
Outside of work, John’s young family keeps him enjoyably busy. He also loves hitting the gym, Aussie rules football, and working on home renovation projects.
