With more than 36 years of experience, Rich brings a strong background in wildlife and fisheries biology with a focus on the science of ecological restoration. He provides technical and managerial expertise to both public and private sector clients on a wide range of natural and water resource assessment, planning, design, construction, and monitoring projects.
His areas of expertise include stream, wetland, watershed, and terrestrial ecology and restoration, permitting and agency coordination, and compliance support. Rich has considerable experience in preparing conceptual to final designs, and construction and post-construction support for a variety of watershed and ecosystem restoration projects across the country, including tidal and non-tidal systems.
In his spare time, Rich enjoys traveling (especially to National Parks), wildlife and nature watching, photography, kayaking, sports memorabilia, playing softball, and actively participating in professional and civic organizations.
