With nearly 30 years of experience, Mike has worked on all aspects of highway design and construction projects. He most enjoys being able to help solve transportation issues with plans that meet the needs and goals of all stakeholders—requiring coordination with the client, community advisory and advocacy groups, and property owners.
Currently, Mike provides services similar to an Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) project manager or squad leader in their District 1 Bureau of Programming office—a role he’s fulfilled for more than a decade. His ability to oversee, review, and prioritize projects has allowed IDOT to complete over 80 preliminary engineering and environmental studies (Phase I) that include bridge rehabilitation and replacement, culvert replacements, and roadway and intersection safety improvement projects.
In his spare time, Mike is an avid golfer and likes to travel for annual golf trips.
