Stephen is passionate about design, sustainability, and people. With a career focused on education, research, justice, and healthcare projects, Stephen works collaboratively with his team, clients, and end users to develop contextual, responsive, and sustainable solutions.
Stephen brings 30 years of experience developing student use buildings for education clients with a focus on the human experience. Through this understanding Stephen has developed a keen understanding of the patterns in which students and faculty use campus buildings including flexible learning and teaching, team-work, informal study spaces, residences and living spaces, and the importance of collegial identity and involvement.
Stephen’s ability to bring together and inspire students, faculty, and administrations has led to a portfolio of truly transformational and award-winning post-secondary buildings.
