Inspired to go into engineering while growing up watching his uncle repair household items, José now has 30 years of experience as a specialist engineer for mining and renewable energy projects. He’s worked on efforts involving large copper mining, petrochemicals, thermoelectric plants, high voltage electrical systems, and the cellulose industry.
Knowledgeable in the coordination and adjustment of electrical protection for industrial facilities, José enjoys working on projects that help contribute the development of Chile. As an electrical and instrumentation lead, he’s responsible for resource management, keeping his team motivated and aligned with the company's concepts, and maintaining the quality of our work.
When he isn’t busy providing engineering services for mining and renewable energy projects, José is passionate about soccer and exploring his love of physics and astronomy. He’s currently learning astrophotography.
