Striking the balance between the needs for development and community tranquility isn’t always an easy task. As an acoustics and environmental noise consultant, Jacob helps clients navigate noise regulations, solve acoustical problems, and develop projects to have a reduced impact on adjacent communities.
Certified by the Institute of Noise Control Engineering, Jacob leads our US Environmental Acoustics and Noise team. He conducts noise assessments for renewable energy, power generation, mining, oil and gas, industrial, transportation, and construction projects. He also has experience with vibration analysis, soundscape studies in national parks, and underwater acoustics.
When he isn’t working on acoustics and environmental noise efforts, Jacob enjoys playing guitar, bicycling, and savoring game and puzzle time with his family.
