Carries strives to connect the big picture with technical detail. A civil engineer and project manager, she designs water, sewer, and storm drain systems. She guides teams through every stage, from feasibility studies and hydraulic modeling to design development, construction documents, and on-site work. Known for her design insight and thorough quality checks, she uses her field experience to spot issues early.
Currently, Carrie leads Santa Barbara’s 30-Year Waterfront Adaptation Plan, which centers around tackling sea-level rise, storm surges, and erosion while protecting recreation, commerce, beach access, habitats, and critical infrastructure.
Away from work, Carrie enjoys attending Santa Barbara Bowl concerts with her family and serves on the Board/Facility Committee for the non-profit foundation.
