Courtney believes that understanding and communicating with landowners is the backbone of all successful power transmission projects. Drawing on her experience in various roles in electric utilities, she has a broad understanding of power projects and key interested parties. She specializes in electrical transmission routing and substation siting for both utilities and independent developers.
As a project manager, Courtney leads end-to-end projects, while managing scope, schedule, and budget, all while supporting regulatory and environmental compliance. She directs complex routing and siting studies for large-scale energy infrastructure projects. Driving successful outcomes through strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and strong client and landowner engagement, she’s a point-of-contact for electric utilities across the Midwest and Southern US. A memorable experience for Courtney involved serving as a subject matter expert in permitting and siting strategy for the largest transmission utility in the US.
Away from managing power projects, Courtney enjoys camping in the Ozarks, hiking and exploring with her sons and rescue dogs. She also loves photography, trying new recipes, and reading.
