A senior principal in our Environmental Services group, Robert helps clients navigate the challenges and opportunities brought about by the transformational shift from fossil fuels as the primary supply to electric power generated from renewable energy. He draws on nearly four decades of experience in the consulting industry providing environmental management and compliance services to private and government clients.
Robert leads multidisciplinary teams across the full value chain of energy project development from conceptual planning through decommissioning. He works with his teams on routing and siting studies as well as constraints and opportunities evaluations, development of permitting strategies, and permit acquisition for large-scale electric transmission projects for investor-owned utilities in California.
When he isn’t helping clients maximize their renewable energy opportunities, Robert volunteers with his local community emergency response team. He also spends as much of his free time as possible enjoying the great outdoors through scuba diving, backpacking, standup paddle boarding, running, and playing tennis.
